Yes, once again I neglected my blog. I’d like to say I’m going to be better and post more, but that likely won’t happen. It’s been almost a year since my last post, and a lot has changed, but some things remain the same. Yet again summer pet karma struck. Little Bunny Poo Poo stopped eating and seemed to be slipping into GI stasis, which he often did every summer. However he was nine years old and apparently his time was up and he passed away last week.
Since Percy’s passing a year ago we did get two more cats, siblings Obi (black) and Whisper (black and white). Whisper was named because she has a silent meow, and Obi was originally named Oblio after the main character in “The Point,” but John hated it an he just ended up being called Obi. They are both a handful and just turned one.
This past fall through spring I had a bump in my job. I was teaching more classes than ever before, and new ones to boot, along with developing new future classes and online ones. So I had little time for much else, including TV shows. My TV blog I never was able to revive, and I’m not sure what I’m going to end up doing with it. Truth be told, every new show I end up loving gets canceled anyways.
I did start a new paranormal website to actually document all my ghost hunts and findings, but I haven’t been able to do much with it yet. Sprucing it up, as well as redoing the website for John’s farm are my goals for the second half of summer, once my summer teaching is done. That and continuing to clean out the junk rooms in my house. One I am in the process of turning into an office, the other I am in the process of throwing everything in it into the garbage!
Another major change is that last fall John’s mother passed away, which has been hard on him and the family. It’s been a change, and just another incident that took over life this past year.
Finally, I once again abandoned Facebook. I just couldn’t deal with it, and constantly finding myself dragged into the negativity on it that just represents our country as a whole right now. I’m sticking with Instagram from now on. Posting and liking pretty pictures is far easier on my blood pressure and sanity!
I’d like to say I have some vacations planned, but I don’t and don’t see any big ones in the foreseeable future sadly. Maybe a small ghost hunt will happen, but it’s been 3 years since the last cruise and real vacation I believe. *sigh*
