Today was not a good day at all. It started at 4:30 am when an insane storm woke us up. I’m talking winds, rain and hail that sounded like someone was pounding on the side of the house. Then the BF’s alarm went off at 5:30, fortunately it was calm enough that I could walk the dogs then. By 6:30 I realized I was not getting back to sleep. Now whenever I get up too early, it throws my stomach off for the whole day. If I sleep to late, I get a headache and am overtired. It’s a delicate balance for sure. So I was a wreck most of the day and I think the doggies picked up on it, they were moping around with me. Needless to say I didn’t make it to the gym. I did a bunch of pointless errands and tried to do work, it wasn’t happening. So I farted around and played my new favorite obsession, “Grand Theft Auto.” I don’t know how I never bothered to play these games before. They are the most addicting games ever! Talk about a way to take out your aggression. I like running over people. I know that sounds horrible, but it’s fun (in the game of course).

That’s why I like FPS games like Quake 4 and Prey — you’re not killing humans, so it’s perfectly okay to be a violent, bloodthirsty slaughterer. 🙂
See also Star Wars I/II/III (“they’re just droids, no big deal”) and LOTR (“they’re just orcs, no big deal”).
I did get into the Jedi Knight FPS games, though it was more of a FPS hack and slash game. You could get pistols from what I recall.
I believe they are making a new one for X360 soon. I’m totally getting the Lego Star Wars game that comes out in 2 weeks.
I don’t feel guilty about running over the people in GTA, it’s a game 🙂
Ew I didn’t even know 5:30 existed.
Ewww 5:30 AM. Gross.
Sorry about your day and sorry you didn’t make it to the gym. I actually made it there early and had to stand outside and wait for them to open. It’s so addicting. I need a AA for Gym.
