Thanks for all the well wishes 🙂 I’m picking Percy up at 7pm. The vet says he’s doing much better, they got an X-ray, no problems as far as they can tell. I’m going to watch him closely all night. I rented some movies to keep me occupied, “Underworld Evolution” “Sasquatch” (straight to video horror junk probably) and “One Missed Call 2” (sequel to a fairly decent horror/ring spoof).

I basically kept myself occupied cleaning today, it had to be done anyways. I figured I wasn’t going to get anything real done while waiting for the vet to call me with updates, might as well fall back on my usual procrastination technique.

The gates and barricades will never come back at this point, I’ll make my BF build the current doggie doors he installed a little higher, Nikko can jump them cause he got bigger. He basically installed a small plank on wheels that swings on the lower door hinge as a barrier to keep the dog out of the basement where the cat food and pans are. Princess does not jump or do steps, she requires someone to pick her up and carry her as a lady should (spoiled!).

Percy will sleep in the bedroom tonight, I want to keep an eye on him all night.
