They’re here! I finally got them all done. It’s broken up into three parts, which I’ve placed in descending order. They are a little lengthy, sorry, I ramble. Also if you are going to watch these at work, watch the volume. I drop the F-bomb once or twice. I also say the S-word 🙂 I’m just a potty mouth when I talk!

There are a few little blips here and there in the videos, nothing terrible. I think I was doing too much multi-tasking while uploading these to YouTube and it caused those blips. That or the server’s processing of the video added them in. This isn’t ghostly phenomenon, they aren’t in the originals 🙂

Part 1.1 – A little about the house and the ghosts.

Part 1.2 – My experiences with the ghosts.

Part 2 – The day after and what happened after I made Part 1 of the video.

  1. I almost pissed myself when the cat scared you! That was some funny shit!!

Excellent blog. Too bad you didn’t capture any ghosts, but I can’t say that I blame you for not wanting to call them out! I sure wouldn’t want to be possessed!!

    Good work!

  2. I think the ghosts already know whats going on. You don’t have to call them, they are there already, listening. Upon mentioning the names you invoke their energy! I feel that your children are grounded to the land where the house sits. At least that’s what I got watching the videos. I have seen visions here (at home) of departed spirits from my life. They come and go from time to time, they bring with them a scent that I would recognize, it is quite interesting. The last few times that happened I was in the shower and I came out of the bathroom and I could “smell” them in the room with me, and I was like, did you have to come while I was in the shower???

He’s cute, He has a cute voice and he makes videos. Maybe you could make a video about your dissertation. Kool Beans Dustin.

  3. Thanks for the blogs—the cat was enough to scare me! I think you’re wise for taking the position of just wait and see. If Michael is that active—are you sure you want to trust your camera in the room alone with him? Nope—I’m not volunteering to sit and hold the camera. Hundreds of miles through a computer is fine by me!!

As you find info on the children ghosts or others, will you pass it along?

Our local college—Bethany WV–has resident ghosts and one professor gives guided tours especially on Halloween. I’ve been too chicken so far, but this may have given me the oomph to attend this year.

    Thanks again!

  4. Dustin, I loved the blogs. No disappointment here, just the history of the house was interesting. My Aunt lives in Lansing, Michigan. The house she is in is very haunted. You get cold and feel the hairs on your arms raise. You can hear voices (sounds like anger men yelling) but you can’t make out what they are saying. We have gotten up and looked outside and no one is around. I have never seen anything (Thank God), but my Aunt and cousin have. My Aunt had surgery and was home recovering. She was very ill, sleeping in her easy chair. She awoke to find a lady dressed in old fashion clothes, a dark dress and white bonnet, smiling at her. A little girl was rubbing my Aunt’s arm, the lady said, come child you are waking her. My Aunt said they walked a few feet from her and disappeared. Late at night I feel very uneasy there. You have to walk passed a closet, no door, just curtains, to the restroom. I felt ice cold air blow on me as I passed, I was so scared. The rest of our visit I woke my husband and made him walk me to the bathroom. One weekend my brother and I went to visit her. My brother who didn’t know about the voices, heard them. He ask our Aunt, who is that yelling? We started laughing, because none of us could hear it. She told him it was ghosts, he said no really what is going on. He got up went out and came back in, he said come on guys I know you hear that. On the way home he said he would never go there again, it scared him to death. Can’t wait to hear more Dustin! HAHA, your cat scared me also.

  5. What a sad story about Michael. I found the background info on your house interesting. I had forgotten that people used to hold the wake and funerals in their homes. Thankfully my house is newer:) Loved your intro to the videos, the “Blair Witch” had me in tears. Even though I saw the cat hop up on the couch, I forgot he was there, so I jumped when you jumped..which caused my husband to laugh at me. I can’t wait to see/hear more about your ghosts.

  6. Umm, Dustin I haven’t read everyone eles comments so maybe they picked up on it too, but at 3:38 of your last video, are those orbs circling you???

  7. There were a few more orbs after the 3:38 moment, but I just had to say I wanna have a sleepover at your house and I promise I’m not werid!! Do you think your ghost can chip in for some gas money to get me there?? LOL Loved your videos, you are too funny! I am so glad you started doing video blogs 🙂

  8. I had to go look. I’m not sure honestly. Normally I’d say those were lights from cars driving bye, but this was made at like 3pm lol.I don’t hink I had my TV on either.

  9. I’ll have to watch and pay attention. As it turns out it could be the sun reflecting off cars driving by. Depending on the time of day it happens. I’m watching it happen right now lol

  10. It’s funny that you made that invitation at the end. While watching these videos, I kept thinking “I want to spend a weekend at his place!” I love it. Besides, I think you’d be fun to hang out with. *G* Even if my chosen profession makes you want to stab your eyes out. *LOL*

On a side note, I loved watching the tip of the cat’s tail going back and forth in the background during the last clip. It reminded me of a shark’s fin in the water, circling for the kill. ;0)

  11. LOL, I’ve gotten emails :-\ . . . . Your welcome anytime though!

Sorry, I just couldn’t get into psychology lol. Tooo much freud and dream symbolism for me!

i’ll just end up like Jay Mohr’s character on Ghost Whisperer 🙂

  12. Hey Dustin,
I see from the above reply that you did get my email. Hmmm, since I didn’t get a reply, let alone an invite I’ll assume that my email scared you :-0
Well, think of it this way, maybe it could make up for “The Happening” that wasn’t all that happening. LOL, Seriously though take care and have a great day. Thanks for having this website.

  13. I’ve gotten a few emails actually lol, I just have fallen behind as usual in answering 🙂

  14. I would love to go ghost hunting, too! The closest that I’ve ever come to a ghost is the hotel we stayed at in New Orleans. The room would get really cold and the hairs on the back of my neck would stand up. And in the middle of the night, the faucet in the bathroom would turn on and off.
