Some on the web are calling it “Hollywood’s Worst Kept Secret.” Lance has been spotted for months at notoriously gay events and hang-outs, but nothing has been said publicly about it. Well finally Lance Bass of N’Synch has come out!

Lance Bass, band member of ‘N Sync, says he’s gay and in a “very stable” relationship with a reality show star. Bass, who formed ‘N Sync with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, tells People magazine that he didn’t earlier disclose his sexuality because he didn’t want to affect the group’s popularity.

  1. I am just going to admit this… I sort of had a BIG Nsync thing a while back… and Lance was top to bottom my favorite member of the band. I even met him and Joey in Seattle once! I had posters, autographs… you know, the works 🙂 And while I haven’t listened to, much less thought of, them in years… this news about Lance makes me SO happy for him! Yea for standing up and being proud of who you are!

  2. There are VERY few N’Synch and BSB songs I can actually stomach, and if I’m drunk and in a club it makes it a lot easier lol.

I just don’t get the boy band phenomenon at all 🙂

  3. To be fair, I did say “a while back” However, I chalk it up-personally, to a need for bubblegum fun… and not a desire for quality or expression.

  4. Hey I’d take a boy band over the hip hop flavor of today’s music any day 🙂 I cannot STAND Nelly Furtada’s new song. Blech!

  5. Ahhh, the bubblegum pop-fun girls… what ever happened to that sweet girl, what was her name? Brittney Spears? 🙂
What still makes me laugh is that everyone bashed boy band pop when it was in the form of Nsync, BSB, 98 Degrees…. But people forgot that there were even earlier boy band pop groups, like the Beach Boys. Now I have my real doubts that someday I’ll take my kids to a fair to see Nsync like my parents did for me and the Beach Boys ( I also doubt that Nsync will have a “KoKoMo” hit later in life) But I do wonder which member will become the next Brian Wilson… Chris? Joey? Hmmm, my money is on Joey.
I do have to agree with you though, I would take good old boy band fun over a huge amount of what is on right now! And I think what happened to Nelly F. is a travesty!
