Medium 3D

I thought it sucked. There wasn’t enough 3D and what there was was poorly done. What a let down!

They could have at least given us Bridget in 3D πŸ™

The Poseidon Adventure, One Boring Cruise!

So last night I watched NBC’s “Poseidon Adventure” remake. Honestly, why did they bother remaking the movie? It was soooooooooo boring! The remake that is. The original is just cheesy. Sure they changed some things, but I still didn’t see why they had to remake it. Frankly if they were going to change who survived and who died, kill the bishop and let Mrs. Rosen survive! That poor woman, no she’s really not a very good swimmer is she. Oh and you can’t have “The Poseidon Adventure” without that horrible song “There’s got to be a morning after.” Also Robocop really should get a new agent, he was in the movie for all of five minutes. Oh, and did C. Thomas Howell get old or what!

It makes me nervous for my upcoming yearly cruise in January. My friend is already telling me how I am going to get robbed by pirates. I’m like it’s “Carnival,” this isn’t the rich people cruise. If pirates decide to rob “Carnival” then they are pretty lousy pirates.

Now I am worried about being bombed by a terrorist πŸ™ Drowning has to be the most horrible way to die in my opinion, which makes me wonder why in the hell I would ever want to get on a boat.

Christmas Shopping

So this coming week is not only Thanksgiving, but Black Friday. Any of you going to brave Black Friday and head out shopping?

I’m probably doing most of my shopping online this year, as I have done the past few years. There is also a little antique street in Philadelphia I like to walk up and down and look for fun and unique gifts. However I’m at a loss for gift ideas this year. Are there any must have or cool and trendy gifts that are the hot thing to get/give this year? I’m so out of the loop!

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

With Harry Potter seen, the next big movie of the season is going to be “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.” If you never read the book/books as a kid, do yourself a favor and read them as an adult. They are the kind of books that you’ll get something out of as both a child and an adult, with children not being able to fully comprehend all the symbolism. They are also the kind of book that seemed sooooooo long as a kid, but an adult can finish in under two hours. It’s not a long book at all.

With the release of the movie, the books have all been released in a box set. If you choose to get them all for you or your kids be warned! They have ordered the books chronologically according to the years in the stories, not according to how they were originally written and published. Reading them in the chronological order spoils things!

Now if movie studios would only see fit to make movie adaptations of Weiss and Hickman’s “Dragonlance” books I would be able to die a happy man πŸ™‚

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

So who went out and saw it already? I did I did! Four Stars! Two Thumbs Up!

Seriously, it was a great movie and this was probably my favorite book aside from the first one.

Questions Answered, Sick, Christmas, Puppy Names

So I’m posting some responses to questions asked in the shoutbox.

I’ve been doing the page for probably 11 years now! Wow, I can’t believe it’s been that long.

The show is shown one day ahead in Canada for some insane reason, that’s where the day ahead previews come from.

I do want more tattoos, I just don’t know what yet or where I will get them. I don’t want to be one of those tattooed everywhere people. Both legs have 1 tattoo each and that is enough. I would probably do something on one shoulder blade and something on one upper arm.

So I’ve been sick. I’ve been slowly feeling I was coming down with something, and now I got some awful stomach bug. I was horrible yesterday and slept almost all day, which is why the soap summaries got posted at 2am.

At this very moment I’m in my jammies πŸ™‚ It’s going to be a lay on the couch and watch TV day for me. I actually found a tape my mom made last year of Christmas specials! She recorded a marathon on Cartoon Network for me. I’m going to watch it later today.

Oh, another suggestion for the new puppy’s name is Wesley. My mom thought it would be cute to go along with Princess because of “The Princess Bride.” It is, but she’s Princess Bumbles not Princess Buttercup.

Disabled the Shoutbox Again, But Brought it Back LOL

I think the shoutbox is making the blog load up really really slow today, why I don’t know. So I turned it off for now.

I can get a free shoutbox from other servers that won’t suck up mine, so I might go that route to keep the blog from loading super slow. I’ll look into it later today.

I’m probably not going to have time to find a new one and impliment it today. I brought the shoutbox back and cleared a lot of the older messages. Perhaps that will help.

More Puppy Names

An update on the puppy names, again πŸ™‚

In addition to the Christmas names . . . .

Fezzy
Hermey
Kringles

The non-Christmas suggestions are as follows . . . .

Pauper (to compliment Princess)
Oz (my mothers suggestion, because the puppy will be like Toto).

I have to admit, I really like Oz. I’ve always loved the Wizard of Oz. I think it’s funny my mom suggested it as she HATES the movie.
