So NBC decided to move Days from 12 noon to 1pm in my area, I guess to be more in tune with the rest of the country. They put on Martha Stewart’s new show in its old time slot, I guess hoping people would watch it. Have you watched it? I tried, really I did. So far I have to say it is AWFUL. I normally get up and walk off to do something while it is on because it is so boring.

Now I like Martha, she has a je ne sais quois about her. She is one of those people you know just has some kinky sex dungeon in her house behind a fake wall or something (Martha would call it a faux wall).

When I first moved to the Philly area for school “Martha Stewart Living” came on at 2 am in the morning. Because I had pretty bad insomnia back then I would watch her show. Yeah some of you might be saying “Why Martha?” One reason was because I only had basic cable, 30 some stations, and at 2am nothing was ever on except “The Mummy” on TNT for the 14 millionth time or the Jenny Jones show. Frankly, I had seen all the teen goth makeovers I could handle from Jenny, so I got addicted to watching Martha. It was actually a cute little show. I did learn a lot of handy little tips, and I always liked her “good things.” I was also a crafty kid, so I enjoyed watching her make stuff like Christmas decorations.

This new “Martha” is not that old show. They have tried to turn her into some Rosie O’Donnell thing, which she is so not. Maybe they need to fire Martha from her boring show and hire Anna Gastayer from SNL to come in and play Martha. That would totally rock!

I am however looking forward to “Martha’s Apprentice.” I normally hate reality shows, and I never watched “The Donald’s” version. I will tune in to see Martha be a bad ass bitch though!
