The Vacation Has Come To An End . . .
 

. . . and honestly I’ve never been so happy to see one come to an end! After this trip I’ve just decided I cannot do anymore vacations when I know I shouldn’t be going away. Every year I know I have too much to do, so I shouldn’t be going off for an extended period of time. From now on if I’m not in a position where I can walk away from work, where I know it can do without me, where I know I won’t obsess over what I’m not doing and what I should be doing, where I don’t have some kind of deadline . . . well I shouldn’t be going away! I will have to limit any trips to day trips or quick over night ones until then.

Now that I’m back I have to quickly get back into the swing of things as I have lots to do and lots to catch-up on. I’ve turned the daily twitter posts back off for now. I was simply using them while I was away and knew I wouldn’t have time to write full out blogs.

I did take a good 150 some photos, so as soon as I can I’ll upload them and get a link to them for you all.

Ummmmm. so what part of VACATION did you miss? Hey, as much as I miss your posts when you are gone, I am not so self abosbed that I can’t live without you! Well, ok, a little, lol. Really, try and time you trips when you don’t have things (work/school) related! Other than that, you deserve some time to enjoy life away from us! Ok, Primetime dish suffers, Dustin’s blog suffers, we all suffer,,lol,, but really,, put you and your bf first, we can take 12 step programs to get over it!

Lori, most of the issue has do with school and job issues lol. I just knew it was yet a bad time to go yet again when I had things that I should be doing first before going away. That’s why I stress :P

Oh and the BF is only off this time of year. Jan/February. He works 7 days a week for the rest of the year, so this is the only time he has off so that’s why we pick this time of year. It’s just crummy time for me, which again is a reason I probably won’t be doing these (or this time of year) again until I’m actually able to!

I’m sorry you had such a crappy vacation this year. Whenever we go on vacation, it always seems to be at a bad time. Then we fight, because I want to do stuff and he wants to relax….blah blah blah.

Now that you’re home, things will fall back into place. Hopefully the PS3 is fixed and you can unwind and play AC (while singing “I’m too sexy”)!!

I’m happy you are home safely. Dustin, your BF needs a day off, 7 days a week is just too much. Can’t the farm hire a replacement 1 day a week for him? I bet he works long hours also. I too look forward to seeing all the vacation pictures.
