i know those damn moms well! they don't talk to me either. i think all those women are still in high school mode, even though they are probably 5-10 years older than me. i can't stand them, so i just stick my nose in my BLACKBERRY, which by the by is waaaaaay better than any ole stinky iphone, and catch up on the news.
i had allergy shots for 2-3 years, 2-3 times a week, as a kid and they didn't really do anything. i take an allergy pill everyday. my allergies are getting worse, which in turn is making my asthma worse so my doctor is scrambling to come up with a solution. more allergy shots are pointless at this point since they didn't do much as a teenager.

Go for it! That sounds like something I would do! The hubby wants one, so I'm curious to hear what you think of it.

The iphone arrived at the AT&T store according to the fed ex tracking number I got, but the store has yet to call me or send me an email. So I'm planning to just go to the store and claim I got notified by an email that the iphone arrived today lol. I'll make them dig through their backroom if Ihave to!

I know "those" moms and I can't stand them! We have Animal Crossing for the DS and I am totally addicted to it, so I haven't played in ages...it makes me forget to do things that I really should be doing. Did you get your iPhone yet?

Yeah I've been through it before. I was on shots for years up until I was probably around 16 or 17 when it seemed they weren't doing anything for me anymore, so we stopped them.

Not looking forward to the prick test. I hated that thing and had to go through it twice.

Once you've been on the shots for a while and you and your doctor know what to expect reaction-wise, you will be able to do the shots at home, yourself. If you can't handle giving the shots yourself, maybe the BF can do it for you. Good Luck! Allergies are miserable.

The shots are a great idea! You have to go to an allergist and get a "prick" test (not as fun as it sounds) This painfull procedure will determine what goes into the shots. The shots are given in the office. You will be getting injected with the things you are allergic to, so you can react badly and possibly go into shock. This is not something you want to have happen in a non-clinical setting (trust me on this point - Anaphylactic shock is not fun and can be fatal)

The concentration of the doses is increased gradually so you are committing to dozens of shots over a specific time frame. It is a big commitment, but REALLY worth it.
