As I got closer to the end, I just couldn't put it down. :-) I agree -- I wanted to take my time so it wouldn't be over too quickly, but it was getting harder and harder to not be accidentally spoiled. Dustin, I think your comparision to the Christmas is over feeling is right on -- I feel the same way. The ending got me a little teary-eyed too, but I was pretty much expecting that. I'd love to see more with Hogwarts, but who knows if she'll change her mind. I, too, am looking forward to reading the whole series straight through! I finished it last night and loved it! It seemed to me that she left the ending a little open ended...perhaps a new generation at Hogwarts to write about?? I too got teary eyed during the epilogue. Only took me 24 hours to read.
