Grrrr! If you are a videogame lover, or have kids wanting the newest systems, you no doubt know that the PS3 and Nintendo Wii hit stores in about 2 weeks. The PS3 is in limited supply, and way overpriced in my opinion. For those wanting one for the holiday season I wish you luck
The Nintendo Wii is more reasonably priced (250$) and even comes with a game! It’s not expected to be in such limited supply, but there will be a demand for it. Certain online retailers are going to start selling “bundles” soon, jacking the price of the system up to 700 dollars! This of course includes a bunch of accessories and games, most of which many people probably won’t want.
How is this any different then people landing a console on launch day and then inflating the price on ebay? In my opinion it really isn’t. I think these “bundle” packages by retailers are scummy and their way of making money off people desperate to get the systems for the holidays.
A pox on people who came up with this idea!
Dustin
